How to coordinate FP for both on-site and off-site guests?

Hi All - Working on planning for a trip this Nov for myself and 5 others. My party of 4 is staying on-site, but looks like the grandparents are leaning towards staying off-site. I'll be coordinating FP for all six of us and I'm a bit concerned about how this will work if some are on-site and some are off-site.

Will I be able to book FP at 60 days out for all 6 of us even if 2 of the party stay off-site? Or will I have to book for 4 at 60 days days and then hope for similar availability for the remaining two at 30 days?

Thanks for input or advice on how to coordinate!! :)

The 2 offsite people share your 60-day window as long as they are part of the FP selection "group" with onsite people.

After booking for the complete group, you can Modify and makes changes.

I am currently having the same type issue. Some off site and some onsite.. however only 1 adult is showing on my Disney Vacation reservation. I tried to call member services but they are closed and my fast pass window of course opens in the am. Should I be able to book all of us even with only 1 person listed as staying onsite ? Thanks so much!

Are the offsite people linked to your MDE account? Anyone who is offsite and is listed on your MDE, or if their MDE is linked to yours, should be viewable by you now.

The people included in your package won't show up until your FP booking window opens at 7:00a.

If you haven't listed the offsite people anywhere, list them in you MDE account as that is much easier than linking two different MDE accounts together.

Sorry to hijack this thread but I had a very similar question and didn't want to start a whole new thread. There will be 2 onsite guests with 10 day tickets and 6 offsite guests with 2 day tickets. I will be buying both sets of tickets through my mde experience app. Even though the tickets are different lengths, will we be able to do fp at 60 days for everyone?

Yes; for the 2 days the offsite people need FPs, group them with the onsite people at the time of booking.

Thanks for this thread! We are in a similar boat - traveling with friends and inlaws. I created a MDE account and put everyone in our party under my account, even though my DH and DS and I are the only ones staying onsite a couple days. We just purchased our tickets through Parksavers.

When I get the ticket numbers from Parksavers, I will go ahead and link everyone's ticket number into my MDE account, correct? Is that the best way to do it? They are all very content and counting on me to be the trip coordinator and make arrangements. I am tech-savvy and have no problems being the one in charge of FP+, etc.

Yes! You have set up everything in the easiest manner and you won't have any problems booking FPs for the complete group. :)

:thanks: I'm so excited!
Will your immediate family be onsite and offsite - a split-stay type of situation? If so, FP booking for Split Stays is included in mesaboy2's FP Superthread at the top of this subforum.

Yes! We arrive before everyone else and will spend our first two nights onsite as a special family Christmas treat. Then, when the rest of the crew arrives, we will join them offsite at Orange Lake.

I'll check out the split thread.
