Does anyone know how to contact restaurant management at WDW? Not wanting to get flamed here, but had a bad experience at Citrico's at the GF and wanted to inform management about it = not just Citricos management. Need to take it a bit higher. Any suggestions?

Thanks for your help.

I think if you contact Guest Services they could put you in touch with the right people.

If you don't mind my asking, what happened? We had a bad experience at Citricos a couple years back too. I always regret not speaking up but aside from the dinner, we were having a great night and I didn't want to spoil things.

Oh well - it is a bit personal, but here goes. I have recently been undergoing treatment for cancer. My hair fell out and I had been wearing a wig. My hair is growing back and doing quite well, however, it has not grown back really well in front as of yet and is still quite short all over.

I wore a visor all week = a nice tasteful black and straw visor. It gave my hair some fullness and hid the fact that some of my hair is still missing and was much cooler than a wig!

Their dress code states that hats cannot be worn so I was told I would have to remove my visor. I said we would go eat elsewhere, and the hostess seemed a bit surprised and taken aback by my comment. She said she simply had to enforce the dress code. I get that, but she wasn't enforcing it. It clearly DOES state no hats...but also states business casual is required. NOT resort casual - big difference! She was allowing people to be seated wearing shorts and uncollared shirts. That is NOT business casual - even at WDW! As I was leaving, my DH stayed behind to explain to her the reason for my visor and she was unmoved by his explanation. The dress code is the dress code he was told. I wonder if I had been dressed up in a nice cocktail dress with a little black hat on with it, if I would have been asked to remove it, too.....

Anyway - just wanted to tell management that they should enforce the dress code, but do it regarding the entire dress code. This little hostess seemed to be missing the point! She was offensive and I just wanted to let management know...and higher than just the Citricos management.

Guest Communication handles all comments and forwards them to the appropriate people. They are the proper channel to go through.

The fastest way to contact them is by email. If you leave your phone number they will get back to you within two weeks with a response.

wdw.guest.communications@disneyworld.com

You could write a letter but it would take a bit longer:
Guest Communications
Executive Offices
Post Office Box 10040
Lake Buena Vista, Florida 32830-0040

They read everything and then send it along to the people you would like to read it

Oh I'm sorry to hear that :guilty: When I was there, I saw guests dressed in yoga pants and sneakers ... and I'm sure there were a couple of them in baseball caps. I felt a little silly myself because DFi and I had actually dressed up and I felt like we were the ones that didn't fit in based on what everyone else was wearing - it definitely was not business casual.

I hope you send a message to Guest Services. I've found they've always been really good about responding to e-mail. Let us know how it turns out.

I hope you feel better soon!

Actually shorts and non-collared t-shirts are considered Business casual at disney. From disney's website.

Dress Attire is Business Casual
Men: Dress slacks, jeans, trousers, or dress shorts, t-shirt, short or long-sleeved shirt with a collar required. Jackets are optional.

Ladies: Jeans, skirts, or dress shorts with blouse, t-shirt or sweater, or a dress required.

Not permitted in dining room: tank tops, swimming suits or swim suit cover ups, hats for gentleman, cut offs, or torn clothing of any kind. While t-shirts are now allowed, the policy remains that t-shirts with offensive language and/or graphics are not acceptable.

However, it clearly only says no hats for gentleman. Please do send your e-mail/letter but make sure that you only reference things that were in violation of the policy - call out the shorts/tees isn't really valid since they are expressly permitted.

Reading the code, it indeed does say hats for GENTLEMEN are not permitted. This makes the hostess reaction to your situation even less easy to understand. We see ladies with hats on all the time at almost every signature restaurant.
Be sure to let us know how this turns out---
