How to close endless hoop earrings

I bought 3 pairs of endless hoops and I don't have a clue as to how to get them closed once they are in my ear!!! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

don't they just go into the hole on the other side once it's through your ear?

I can never get them closed either. I just squeeze the earring as tight as possible so it comes together and won't fall out.

It's getting the wire into the hole on the other side that's the problem
