Is there any site to check seat availability with Continental airline? I am traveling out of EWR and Delta and Continental are my only non-stop options. The fare price with continental is around $850 per person. Last year I purchased my Nov travel ticket in Sep and paid $230 per person. I like to check the seat availability to see if I should wait more or buy my tickets with Delta.

I always use this method (works for almost any airline.) Keep in mind that these seat maps are not always 100% accurate, but I have always been able to select seats based on this info & have always gotten the seats I've picked.

Go to : http://www.itn.net
Scroll down & click on 'Advanced Search Options' (plane logo)
Enter your travel info (make sure and enter the approx. travel time, to cut down on the # of flights displayed & enter the airline you want to fly)
Then select the appropriate flights
The website will price your itinerary.
Then a screen will come up with the itinerary and will ask you if you want to select seats for this itinerary.
Click on 'SELECT SEATS' icon.
This will show you available seats.
Most airlines only enter available seats 2 months in advance, so if no seat info is avail, that may be the reason.

Thank you Smart Cookie. It seems less than 10% of seats have been reserved on Continental, I guess I will be monitoring the seat availability for both delta and continental and look for better fare to come out.
