how to celebrate DD's 7 birthday at US/IOA

I must confess that we have celebrated the kids' birthdays at WDW but never at US or IOA. DD has dressed up and had breakfast with the Princess and she has worn the birthday buttons, which gets her lots of well wishes, smiles and extra attention from the characters.

Our WDW AP have expired so we are only going to US & IOA this trip. What can we do to add a little extra birthday fun at US?

We will be going down the first week of September and staying at the Courtyard by Marriott for $20.03 a night!

The mystic fountain IOA will sing happy birthday if u ask also have a birthday treat at hard rock the staff will sing for her

I know that Universal just started offering birthday parties at either IOA or USF. I don't remember the price off hand but it might be something you want to look into. Unfortunately it is not on the website yet so you might have to call the 1-800 number. Sorry I don't have more information but hopefully that helps.
