How to carry iPhone 6s Plus...without a bag?

When going to the parks, my phone and cash is really all I carry and avoid the bag check. In the past, I would put my phone, cards, and cash in a small Vera Bradley wallet that fit in my pocket. It kept my phone more secure than just in my pocket by itself. Well, I recently upgraded to an iPhone 6s Plus from a 4s - big size difference! Anyone have experience touring the parks with an iPhone 6s Plus and/or suggestions for carrying one? Do you just put it in your pocket?

Thanks in advance!

Get a silicone cover for it. Some have a credit card slot on the back.

This isn't silicone, but it may do: http://www.amazon.com/Iphone-6S-plus-Case-Protective/dp/B015QZM3ZS/ref=pd_sim_107_8?ie=UTF8&dpID=51odhijXLAL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR160,160_&refRID=1D3SJB9C363XSTHBTWQE

Then wear cargo pants, or at least pants with deep pockets. I got the iPhone 6, my husband got the 6 Plus. He has had a very hard time finding pants with deep enough pockets!

Having "deep enough pockets" can sometimes (usually) be a problem when visiting theme parks.

I am so glad you asked this! I just got a 6s Plus myself and realized my wallet case is not exactly conducive to taking lots of park pictures come May. I have a silicone case for ease of photo taking, but I always carry a bag in the park (filter waterbottle and boatloads of sunscreen and contact lens solution).

Would a wristlet case have to go through bag check?

I use a small wristlet/crossbody wallet that I put in one pocket and I put my phone in the other pocket (or carry it) so I can go through the no-bag line. Once I'm in the park, I take the wallet out, put the phone in it, and wear it as a crossbody bag. Vera Bradley makes a wristlet/crossbody bag specifically to fit an iPhone 6. If we go to the parks in the afternoon when the bag check lines are empty, I don't even bother to put the wallet in my pocket. I've found that if I just open the main compartments and walk up to the bag check line they just wave me through.

The Vera Bradley I used before has a small strap and I guess would be considered a wristlet, but my phone doesn't fit in it any longer. It's too tall. Do you have a picture or a link for the one you use? Or a name? Thanks.

When are you going? I just used pocket or the front pocket of a hoodie sweatshirt and I Didn't have a single issue. To minimize the cards and cash, why not link your payments method to a magic band and/or use Apple Pay?

Going in July, so I don't think I'll need a sweatshirt. As for the cash, I don't carry much, but I need my Disney Visa for M&G and discounts. My main concern is keeping my phone safe and intact, but it's bulky in a pocket...especially when we're talking shorts!

I've been considering a Running Buddy.
It's a pouch that fits your phone and a few other small things. It has a strong magnet and attaches to your waistband. It's like a secure exterior pocket.

Has anyone tried one.

Intriguing...but I think I would be too worried about it the whole time. The thing I liked about my wristlet was that I could loop the strap around a belt loop and then stick the whole thing in my pocket without it being too bulky. Even if it fell out of my pocket, which it never did, it was still attached.

I wear a Sparkle Skirt ... I use them for running, too, but they also work great for the parks!

They're not cheap, but they are very handy. They have 5x5 pockets on the outsides of the undershorts (fits my phone, keys, small external battery), and the waistband of the skirt has a zipper pocket where I keep my cards, etc.

What about a SPIbelt (Small Personal Item belt)? I don't have a plus, but I use a SPIbelt to hold an iPhone 6s with my ID, insurance card, and gels for long-distance running. It's the same concept as a fanny pack, but very compact - it looks tiny when empty, but stretches to fit the contents. I just saw on their website that they have a larger version that they say fits "any smart phone." http://www.spibelt.com/products/limited-edition/large-pocket-spibelt

Cargo Shorts if you are a dude. If you are a chick, you have to bag it some how.

There are some cases (I believe the Otterbox defender) that have a belt clip. You could clip it onto you so you don't worry about it fitting in a pocket.

I don't have the plus, but I use a small crossbody bag to put my phone money etc in. I go through the bag check but it only takes a minute. Then I don't have to worry about anything coming out of my pockets on a ride.

I carry a Note 4, so about the same size as a 6Plus
I really have nothing to suggest that isn't a bag. There are several that it fit in but they won't eliminate bag check.

I've been known to stick it in my bra, letting DH carry my wallet on a string in so we can skip bag check and then I take it from him and put the bag on.

I only bother with that when we encounter a really long line (often just at Epcot's main entrance). Otherwise I just carry it myself. Most guards don't even need to look in it since it's only large enough for my phone and a credit card.

Mbs are not perfect nor is their charging system. I always take a backup plan even when we do room charging.
