I did some research, and got more confused than before I started... According to TSA regulations, you can only have liquid in very small bottles (3.4oz/100ml) contained within a clear quart-sized bag in your carry-on luggage (I know they make people throw away any bottled water etc. at the airport check point) - so any liquid/beverage you bring from home would have to be in the checked luggage. BUT for boarding the DCL ship, any liquid/beverage has to be in the carry-on, not the checked luggage.

So how do people do it? The luggage with DCL tag is supposed to get checked at my home airport to go on the plane and magically get delivered all the way to the stateroom onboard the ship, so there isn't a point after flying and before cruising where I can easily move the liquid/beverage stuff from checked to carry-on.

I'm actually not thinking of any alcoholic beverage, or large volume like a case of bottled water. But after our last Fantasy cruise where the coffee experience was pretty abysmal, I would like to bring one bottle of cold-brewed concentrate to mix my own coffee drinks (delicious with some milk!) if that's possible to do without too much trouble...

Here's what you do. Put the beverages in one checked bag. Then put the DCL luggage tags on all your checked bags, but NOT the one with the beverages in it. Once at MCO, claim the untagged bag, remove the beverages to your carry on bag (for taking on the ship), and put the DCL tag on now. Then take that one bag with you to the DCL transfer desk. When you check in there, hand them your now beverage-less bag to be taken (via a truck) to the ship and you will next see it at your room onboard
