How to book with AAA rate?

I want to book one night on site at a value and I am hoping to get a AAA discount. Do I have to call AAA for that or Disney directly? Is it possible to book online and get the discount?

If you're booking a room-only reservation (no tickets or dining plan), you can call Disney directly. If you want a package (tickets and/or dining plan), you must book through a AAA travel agent. The discount is on the room rate only.

You cannot book the AAA discount on-line.

I called my local AAA agent and WDW directly today, oddly I received 2 different rates. I booked by calling WDW directly as they offered me a slightly better room (preferred over standard) for less than AAA was giving me the standard room at the same resort (Pop)... both with AAA discount.

For room only, you can book directly with WDW. I had my POR res. in Jan 2012 with AAA rate, then when the Jan discounts came out last week I switched over. The WDW discounts are always better.

When my family and I stayed at the Contemporary in December 2008 we got the CAA/AAA rate and reserved it by calling the Disney Reservation Center.
