thanks for info everyone. we didnt realize most of the deluxes could take 5. we like the all stars for the kids since they are so young but may have to look into the others. also we may go with sister in law and get two adjoining rooms at an all star. thanks for the help. any more tips or ideas, keep them coming.

The Dolphin has the same busing as the Disney hotels. You can also walk or take a boat to Disney Movie Studios or Epcot. There is also a great Disney merchandise store off of the lobby. The grotto pool is big and has a neat waterfall. As for theming, I'd say there is theming around the dolphin or ocean theme.

All of the deluxe rooms at AKL that used to sleep five (on the fifth floor) were converted to DVC villas. Allears needs to change that one.

Someone mentioned that DVC one BR units could be booked through DVC member but not through CRO. I s this right, or is it a thing where you can "sneak" it and they let you get away with it? I wouldn't want to "sneak" anything, and if I rented pts, I wouldn't want to cause any trouble for the member. My family , myself, DH, DD13, DD10 &DD5 would fit fine in a 1 BR. Myself , DH &DD5 in a king size bed and DD10 DD13 in the qn sleeper. Just wondering if this is really allowed or not.

You can book any DVC room through CRO but it tends to be cheaper when renting points from a DVC member. I believe that the one bedrooms at the DVC resorts have a max. occupancy of only 4 so that wouldn't work for you either. The two bedroom villas have a max. occupancy of eight.

Another option for you could be a cabin at FWC.

Member Service has allowed five in a one bedroom unofficially. But they do not provide any additional bedding or linens. You still only get four bath towels, four face cloths and two hand towels.

This could all change once Kidani Village opens at AKV. Kidani Village will have one bedroom villas that sleep five with the addition of a sleeper chair.
