How to book standard view reservation??

We will be going to WDW in January the 14th - 21st we would like to stay at the BW in a 2 bedroom standard view. We can only book at the 7 month mark. My question is should I book day to day and link the reservations or should I just wait until the 21st and book the whole reservation?

Just call day-to-day. If you let them know you will be booking day-to-day, they will hold the reservation open and just keep adding days to it. Therefore, there won't be any need to link reservations--it will end up as a single reservation. Good luck!

I'm sure a BWV expert will come on and tell you shortly, but my gut feeling is that you probably should book day by day for standard view. There is a far smaller percentage of those rooms to begin with. I might be wrong though. Carol will know the real answer.

Book day by day and call as close to 9 am Eastern as you can. You have a good chance to get a standard view at 7 months for your dates, but it is by no means a "slam dunk". If one or more of your days isn't available, at least you will be able to get on the waitlist sooner than if you waited until the end. It only takes a few minutes each day.

Definately book day by day. As you are not going at peak season...you might have a chance but the BW 2bdrms are limited. I always book a 2 bedroom and usually book day by day to make sure I get what I want and typically I book at the 11month window..

same here. no matter what the season i book standard view day by day at the 11 month mark. i might be overdoing it, but i know what i want and won't chance not getting it.

You may want to ask on the first day what availability looks like for the entire week. That way you will know if you will have any dates missing. You can then decide if you want to waitlist individual dates as they come up or wait until the end and waitlist for the entire time.
