how can i apply the aaa discount.? I know if i want the dining plan added then i need to go through a AAA TA but what about just room only an tickets? can i go through disneys website or do i have to call or use a TA?

If it were me I would: book a "room only" directly through disney.

order tickets through ticketmania.com (better prices than disney)....

Dining plan is nice if you typically eat 1 table service meal a day.. (too much food for me though) plus, they just down scaled alot of the restaurants in Epcot on the dining plan for 2007.

what about the aa discount though? can i apply it online or would i have to call disney? i just called for a quiote and the CM said that he didnt have AAA rates yet but maybe next week?? :confused3

When are you taking your trip? I called today and applied the AAA discount to my room-only reservation just a few minutes ago for my November trip.

If you check Mousesavers, the 2007 AAA rates were just released today - I'd try back later today or tomorrow. I don't think you have to worry about them running out before then.

Good luck!

Call back & speak with another CM! The AAA rates came out today. (I got my discount applied this morning.) Just tell them that you want the AAA discount applied to your room-only reservation. (They may ask for your AAA membership number, so have it handy.) I'm not sure you can do this online, but you can do it by calling CRO -- you don't have to go through your AAA office unless you want a AAA package.

If you are interested in purchasing park passes separately (i.e., not part of a package), then you can purchase those through AAA for a discount. Look on your local AAA office's website to see which tickets they offer. Each AAA location seems to offer different tickets and the options are pretty limited. For example, they may only have 4 day or 7 day tickets. If they have what you want though, they are a good way to get your tickets -- maybe even a little cheaper than through UndercoverTourist or Ticketmania.

HTH!

yep! cxalled back and got a CM who gave me the AAA rate! thanks for the tips about tickets too!

question though.. how do you find your local aaa office website? i am looking on the aaa website and cant seem to locate anything? i think i am being dense though! lol :confused3

I'm glad to hear you got your AAA rate! As far as the AAA website goes, is there anywhere on aaa.com's home page that asks for your zip code? I think that is what I did once and it directed me to aaasouth.com (the AAA branch for my region). You could also try googling "AAA" plus the name of your state to find your branch.

I hope I didn't confuse you by saying each "local" office has different tickets. What I should have said was each AAA "branch" seems to. So AAA South may have different tickets than AAA Michigan does, etc., but all the AAA offices within your region should be the same. You just need to find the branch that services your region.

I hope that makes sense and please let me know if you have anymore questions!

o ok..ya southern cali doesnt offer any disneyworld tickets!! :( Thanks for all your help though!
