Hi all!

I'm a little bit new around here, but I can't stay away from these boards! As I've been reading, I see talk of baggalinis, the color lime green, lime green paint chips from Home Depot, a secret "gesture" for the parks so we can meet other Dissers, and whole bunches of other stuff. I'm kinda putting it all together, but I'm still a little lost on how to be a true DISer. We're planning our trip hopefully for September this year, and I want to be sure I'm representing!! :disrocks: Can you give us newbies the low down on being a Disser? Thanks!!

*cracks fingers* Let's see what I can answer for you...

"I see talk of baggalinis"- I'll save this for someone else, I'm not sure I quite understand it except that these bags come in green and are good for carrying around the park. Maybe that's all there is? :confused3

"the color lime green"- that's the color of this DISboards, I don't know it was chosen. Before my time.

"lime green paint chips from Home Depot"- AKA "LGMH"(Lime Green Mickey Heads), these are in the shape of a "classic" Mickey Mouse head. The color most DISers use is "Alien Green"(that's the "official" color). People wear these around the park so that other people know that they are a DISer. Some people decorate them with Disney stickers, glitter, rinestones, their board names, etc. Mine are plain. I also made some to give to other DISers I met so that it would be easy to get in touch later. (I also used the "Bouncy Bouncy" color to write my board name on, I am a Tigger after all!)

"a secret "gesture" for the parks so we can meet other Dissers"- This comes from the movie "Meet the Fockers". It's the I'm watching you sign. With your pointer finger and the middle finger you point at your eyes and then at the person wearing green. It's become known as "Focking" someone. Not all DISers do this, just the more couragous I think. I think this is the thread in which it all started:

In the very first post of the thread LisaDKG has a nice picture that may help you get the gist of the gesture.

Hope that helps some. :hippie:
