How to add pictures to thread

Can anyone tell me how to add pictures to my thread?

The easiest way (for me at least) is uploading them to Shutterfly or Snapfish or Photobucket. Once you've uploaded your pictures, right click on them and then select "properties." That will give you the address of your photo. Stick image tags before and after the address and voila! It'll look something like this (minus the *) :

Somebody else might have a simpler way of doing it, but that's how I learned a long time ago so that's how I've been doing it.

I have a question on this too. Adding pictures would be adding attachments? I can post but it says I can't post attachments so that means I can't add pictures, right?
