How to add Genie to existing tickets?

Because waiting 2 hour on hold is shameful...

Can someone explain how I add Genie to existing tickets?

We have no-expiration tickets and when I press to add Genie - it puts me only to buying tickets?

Am I missing something?

Also same issue with Memory maker?

Can anyone help?

I assume you mean buy for the entire trip? Otherwise you just purchase it each morning.

If you've already purchased Walt Disney World theme park tickets, you can upgrade them in advance to include Genie+ for the length of your stay. To do so, open the My Disney Experience Mobile App, tap on the three horizontal lines located on the bottom right corner, and select Tickets and Passes. Find the change ticket option. It’s similar to adding park hopper.

You say it's a no-expiration ticket -- does that mean you've used some of it previously? If so, you probably cannot add Genie+ in advance. Adding G+ in advance adds it to the entire ticket (10-day ticket = 10 days with Genie+). If you only want to add to certain days, you must do that each morning (or anytime after midnight) of the day you want to use G+.

Like you, I have 3 no-expiration tickets (Canadian offer from 2017, never used) and cannot add Genie+ to them. Unlike my daughter’s ticket that I ‘bought’ with miles last summer but that is date-specific for our trip. That one shows me the option to add Genie+ for the length of the ticket (5 days). I don’t want to pay a long-distance call (what company in 2022 doesn’t have a 1-800 number?!?!) for that so I’m planning to ask guest services if they can add it for all 4 tickets when I activate my 3 Canadian tickets in July. Worst case scenario, I will buy everyday.

You aren’t able to add genie in advance to tickets they no longer sale. Even if you want it on all days
You have to be able to go through the check out process again. Can’t do that when they don’t sell that ticket
