How they stack up!

My family and I are disney world freaks and go twice a year but we are staying at The Carribean Beach resort for which we have never stayed and I was wondering how it relates to Port Orleans FQ and Pop that we usually stay in?

The POFQ is still my DS, 17, favorite resort, even over BCR, where we stayed last. We have stayed at CBR and I liked it but we like the intimacy of the POFQ best. We have never stayed at POP.

As far as WDW transportation there are about five stops around the resort so it can mean more walking than you had to do at POFQ.

CBR was the first Disney resort I had ever stayed at because my early visits were usually just for the day. Then there was almost 20 years between my visit as a single adult and as a parent, my, my how the placed had changed! They were just building EPCOT when I was there in '81 and when I went in 2000 they had three additional parks opened and two water parks.

Anyway, back to the original question. You will like CBR but maybe not as well as POFQ, no begniets (of however you spell it! )!

CBR is, in a weird way, a cross between POP and POFQ. The rooms are decently larger, and they feel more more POFQ. But, the grounds are a bit more festive and spread out like POP. It is a nice enough resort if you like the sort of Caribbean/Floridian-Caribbean themeing. There are some other fun things to do around like Parrot Cay. Be sure to check their pool schedule, though, if you go swimming because it is undergoing a fairly extensive rehab sometime in the near future.

IMO CBR is better that Pop, not as good as POFQ. I can't put my finger on it,
but I've never gotten that same "feeling" from CB.

POFQ is our family favorite. We didnt really like CBR b/c it was so large everything is kinda far from something based on the building we were in. As for pop we didint like it much b/c we could see and hear the highway from our room. Just my opinion.
