Just wondering what everyone thinks of the Hollywood and Vine Character breakfast at MGM....trying to do a character meal for our first day at WDW, I am back and forth between this and Ohana's and just wanted to try something new, I really want to try Ohanas dinner, we looooooved the character breakfast...just wanted to see what everyone thought of this one...thanks everyone

We did lunch so I can't comment on the breakfast food but the character interaction was EXCELLENT! The characters all came around to our table multiple times and were always walking around, dancing and playing with kids. There are also play times when a host-type person invites the kids into the center to dance to a Playhouse Disney song. The characters danced also. If your kid watches Little Einsteins or JoJo, they will love it.

It was a really nice experience! My kids had so much fun, they begged to go back so we cancelled another character meal and went back a second time.

Food is very typical Disney buffet stuff, not outstanding but not bad. Character interaction was terrific. It was hard to get my boys to sit and eat, they just wanted to dance with the characters and the emcee.

Second what others have said! We had a great experience there, and will be going back on this next trip. The food was good for breakfast. The characters were very friendly. The group songs and 'parade' for the kids to participate in was really fun. My kids loved all of the songs being played. We are big Playhouse Disney fans, and this is great place for a fan to go!

I have this booked for breakfast with my DD whose six. She still watches the shows occasionally and I thought it would be fun while DH and DS 10 take a side trip to Kennedy Space Center. How old are your kids? We're also doing CRT for breakfast, CP for dinner and CM for breakfast as well. Do you think she'll enjoy it? Thanks :)

Went in Dec 2006, DD was 7, loved We had one of the first seatings, 8:05 a.m. Not crowded at all, food was good. DD loved the character interaction and dancing with the Playhouse Pals (I think that's what they are called).

One neat thing - we got to enter MGM Studios when noone else was in it - kinda neat to be in a park (almost)all by yourself.

My kids are twin 5 yr. olds (about to turn six) and a two year old. They all enjoyed it. I think your dd will love the CRT, CP (my fav), and CM too! Great choices!

Here's a pic with JoJo:

Excellent character interaction and lots of personal attention. There is also opportunity for singing and dancing with the characters.

This character breakfast was one of the highlights of our trip. Our two small children loved it.

We also very much enjoyed Ohana for dinner. Although we found the food to be way overrated, the atmosphere was fun and we had a good time.
