How the heck do I get ahold of anyone? 500+ phone waits?!

I have a cruise booked and paid for this Friday, the 8th. For two weeks now I have been trying to talk to someone on the phone or live chat regarding my son's dietary restrictions. I can't get ahold of anyone! The phone waits are 500+ minutes according to the system; I waited 2 hours today and gave up. Live chat is always 'busy.' I've been on the site trying for chat the instant it opens, same for phone - nothing. I'm also trying to buy spa credit for my husband as a gift but only get an error window.

This is going to be a big issue if we have to sail on Friday without getting to talk to someone on the DCL side first.
 
You could try clicking on "contact us" at the bottom of the DCL website and fill out the form and hopefully someone can get back to you quickly.
 

We also have not received our luggage tags yet and we sail in two days. >.< Yes, I have sent emails and the contact form. No response and it's been two weeks.

This part is truly not an issue. The porters can give you tags when you arrive to check-in your luggage.

Don't stress about that too much. The porters at the port have blank ones that they will fill out for you and put on the luggage.

If you get no response before the cruise regarding dietary restrictions, please go to the designated location on boarding day where they handle dining assignments. You may be responsible for making choices for the first night’s dinner - but they will let you order subsequent dinners for the Following night. I do not have any food issues, but have seen this done at tables near me, and read reports on this forum regarding the same.

My best experience with short wait times on the phone is at night in the last 30 minutes. Not a guarantee, but it has worked for me.
 
Try pushing the button to book a new cruise, I've seen a few reports that that will get you a person much quicker
