My sister and I are the freaks in our large Italian looking family -- we got some weird hidden Scandanavian gene, I think. We're both 5'10", blonde and blue eyes in a family of short, dark Italians. My father was also sort of the freak - he was tall (6'3"), but not blonde, so his freakiness was not as profound. I also have a couple of brothers who are tall too, but realy, if you traced our history there are only a couple of handfuls of tall people.

My husband is tall, 6'1". Our boys appear to be of average height at this point, but that could change.
