How strict are the Resturants.

I have two very picky 14 and 18 year old eaters who only eat stuff off the kids menu. How strict are the sit down restaurants in Disney on ordering from the kids menu when they are older than 9 years old. Has any one come across my same situation and how did they treat you. Thanks

i have not had a problem ordering from the child's menu and i'm much, much older.....LOL

I've ordered from the kids menu with no problem and like the PP I am MUCH older than your children! I've read of people being charged a higher price and given a larger portion but I have not had that experience.

I just politely ask the server if it is OK if I order from the child's menu and have always been told absolutely no problem.

I am another adult who has ordered off the kids menu at a sit down restaurant! I have never had a problem. What they will do is give you an adult portion of the kids meal you want and charge you an adult price.

My 11 year old still eats off the kids menu at every restaurant. We never had a problem. We also are never on the DDP, so it would be different if we were I'm sure.

I too have ordered many kids meals at WDW and I too am WAY older than your kids. In fact, I have kids around your kid's ages.

When we've done free dining and my DD13 hasn't found items she liked on the adult menu, we've been able to get her an item from the kid's menu but in an adult size portion many times.
