The day after we got back Dh vowed we would go again. Looking into the future we will save a lot of money to go next year before DD turns ten and becomes an "adult" and DS turns three and counts as a kid. I've been on the Disney site but I can't get prices for next Feb yet. When do people actually book there trips? How far in advance? I know that if I want to stand a chance a Cindy's castle I've got to reserve in August but other than that would I be better off waiting until late and hoping that they come out with some offer?

You can go ahead & book now. It will just be at rack rates & if a discount comes out you can call back & apply it. You just have to call WDW to do it or you could use an agency like Dreams Unlimited & they'll do it for you

I agree with Annette it is never too osoon to start booking. You can always look for new rates or packages they will adjust them for you.

Good to know! I really wanted to book but was afraid of missing out on a discount. This is our first trip so I'm really nervous about doing it all right.

Its never too early to plan!! If I didnt get to plan years in advance, I would go crazy! Planning helps to make the time go by while waiting for the trip!
