how soon to expect confirmation email?

Hi!

I got mine pretty much immediately. I got off the phone, and it was there! :goodvibes

They seem to update pretty fast too... I called today to pay my deposit, and when I logged onto my account, it had been applied.

I never got any email confirmation. Every CM I talked to when booking, paying balance etc says that they don't email out any more. I should just goto the web site and print out the confirmation there. At least I got my confirmation letter in the snail mail today.

Weird that some of you are getting email confirmation but not others.

While others like me aren't getting anything. No e-mail, no snail mail and no online confirmation. All I have is a confirmation # and a CM who says it's booked.

I got mine right away. I know it was less than 10 min.Call back and tell them you did not receive one.

I have and each time they tell me they are sending the e-mail. Maybe I should give them another e-mail address other than comcast.net and see if it goes through.

I'm having absolutely no problem seeing my reservation on line at the WDW website. It seems strange that some are.

Are you registered at the site?

Have you logged in?

Have you used the link that says "My Disney Vacation"?

If I have gotten my paper confirmation in snail mail, should I still bother CRO for email? I am thinking no but just wondering what you guys think.

Yep. It tells me that my confirmation # and phone # don't match. If I could just pull it up then I wouldn't care about the e-mail or snail mail one.

Did you book by yourself or through TA? I know when I booked through AAA I couldn't get my confirmation up online.

I called Disney reservations and did it directly through them. I guess I will call them on Friday and see if you can do anything like fax it to me or send it to another e-mail address.

It took 7 days for me to get my confirmation through snail mail, but I never got a confirmation email.

My email probably went to the same bit bucket in the sky, along with my mystical PIN number :)

I've never, in any trip to WDW, received an email confirmation. I've only received snail mail ones.

I would call them back and see if they can pull up the reservation and ask them why you can't pull it up online.

When I called CRO last Friday night, I was asking about prices. I didn't book it right then and there because I had a strong suspicion the CM wasn't correct on room availability (I called about AKL standard...we had not even discussed discounts at this point...she said absolutely no standard rooms were available....turns out, there were plenty available). She told me she'd do a courtesy hold for me in case I decided to stick with it and pay a deposit. She gave me a confirmation number and everything. When I called the next morning and got a CM who did know what she was talking about (and found the "plenty of standard rooms"), I gave her the confirmation number and she couldn't pull anything up...the number didn't even exist in their system. So she tried searching uunder my name, address, phone number, basically any information that I gave to the CM the night before. There was nothing. Apparently the prior night's CM had never actually done the hold. Good thing I wasn't interested in package she offered me. WHen we actually did get a package together, another "courtesy hold" was placed, I got a new confirmation number...and lo and behold, within a few minutes, my ressie was online.
Anyway, all this to say to call and make sure that there IS a ressie there for you.

This is interesting...my ISP is also Comcast and I haven't received my confirmation either, in spite of them supposedly sending two of them out. I also have the same problem of not being able to pull up the reservation on the website either. Please post if you find anything that is causing these emails to be blocked by Comcast.

If you can pull your reservation up online...even though it doesn't show the DDP:rolleyes: do I really need a confirmation email?

isn't this FUN?!:badpc: :cool1: ;)

Me too. I booked over three weeks ago.

I was told by a CM yesterday that they don't send out email confirmation's on packages. They only send them for room only.

As far as the Disney website, I had the same problem with it recognizing my reservation number and phone number. It never pulled it up, but when I scrolled down a little I could see "iteneraries" and clicked on that. The reservation was there. Now, when I go to the website, I just log in and click on my vacation, then iteneraries and it's all there.

I saw my reservation on-line immediately and my hard copy came a week later.
