How soon to airport w/A pass?

We are checked in to a morning flight on SW (first flight out in the AM) and I just got our "A" boarding passes. We are carrying on our two luggage (and our two kids w/backpacks, LOL) so we don't need to check baggage. How soon would folks recommend getting to airport? FYI...our flight is at 7 a.m.

I tend to get to the airport 2 hrs before my flight. This way, if I get held up in security, and it can happen, I have plenty of spare time. I have gotten to the gate about an hour and a half before my flight and I have been about 8th in the line. That's a long time to stand there, but stand I did. You can probably take turns standing. But within about 20 minutes of my arrival, the line was humungous behind me.

Thanks...I was hoping to not have to be in the airport at 5 am, but I think we are going to have to bite the bullet.
