How soon can you use points after adding on?

Immediately (when adding on direct from DVC), as soon as they process your add-on. In my case, it has always been the same day, but if they are backed up, it might take a day or two.

I have to admit, and my wife dosent even know yet that I called our guide on Wednesday to get on a waitlist for a small add on at AKV (Nov UY) and today got called and I was told the points are already in my account Heres hoping she will be as happy as me (although I am sure she will )

Do you get the same UY as the main contracts?

Same day....my guide did a 3 way call to MS...and they were able to
"hold" my ressie....till my points showed.
