I have done the virtually impossible. I have managed to get PS at Cinderella's Castle for breakfast every Disney trip we've taken (7 and counting) no matter what time or season. My family loves me for this, if nothing else. :earsgirl:

This time I got us in on the morning our cruise is over. 10:30 am to be precise. Can we make it comfortably? Has anyone tried to rush to the parks like that? If it seems too much of a hassle, I'll cancel. We've been there/done that before...but we do like that stuffed french toast!

This is our 2nd cruise. Our last one was about 5 years ago and I don't remember how fast we got off the ship. We are first seating for meals.

Should we just take our own luggage off the ship to expedite our departure?

Depends. Will you have your own vehicle to leave the luggage in?

If you can go straight there, no problem. If you will have to stop at a resort, that might not be long enough.

We'll have a rental car, so we can head straight to Magic Kingdom. It's about a 45min drive, right?

Our first cruise we left the ship at 7:50 and were in our rental car by 8:20 (took Avis shuttle to Avis). We were at AKL by 10:00 easily (with a stop at Eckerd's) so with a car you should be fine.

Should Be Able to make it ....

With Your own Car....

We Had The Chance To Do The Breakfast Last Trip
Was Great ..

We Went To Magic Kingdom WALKED up to The
Door And Asked if We Could Dine With Them?

They Said Sure and Gave Us the Best Table in The House Next To The Windows.. That is What They Called it..

Was A Good Time.. Enjoy Again ...

Thanks! We're doing it backward (or forward, depending on your viewpoint) this time...cruise first, parks last... We didn't rush at all after the first cruise because we were so sad to end our Disney vacation.

I'm going to try for other mornings during our trip for Cindy's, but if this is the only one I get...we'll be the family of four getting off the ship lightning-fast!!!

I was wondering the very same thing as we return to port on dd 5th bday and I would love to take her to the castle on her very special day. dh thinks it cannot be done and should drive on home. hum....

Just remember...delays can happen. It is NOT likely (in 39 cruises we've only had significant delays on disembarkation day three tims), but it is a possibility. One was due to weather, one was due to a change in the security level, and one was because someone mistakenly took our luggage. But as long as there is no penalty if you don't show, I wouldn't worry about it.

Actually, now there is a penalty. I'll lose a $25 deposit for our family of four if we don't show.

It didn't use to be that way, but apparently there have been many unscrupulous people stockpilling priority seating reservations for Cinderella's Castle, then not showing up (or even selling them).

So, if I get another PS for a later date during our 10-day stay, I'll quickly release this one.

We're on the 12/16 3-day Wonder, so I'm just starting to reach the 90-day PS mark for our vacation days and I'm in the process of making those dreaded 6am (Texas time) phone calls.

But...I do love planning and doing Disney!
