how should I rent a car?

We're staying at WDW for 5 nights and getting free shuttle there so how should I go about renting a car to go to Universal for 2 nights? Anyone have any experience with any rental places who will pick us up at WDW and take us to Univ? Then we go take the car back to the airport.

Depending on where you are staying you have different options. The AAA car care center at WDW rents. We rented a car for one day in August to get groceries. We were at POFQ and took the boat to DTD and walked right across the street to the Grovsenor resort (dollar cars). With most rental companies I think you can choose a different pick and drop off location.

When you rent from Enterprise, you can arrange for pick-up. They will come to your hotel and take your to the rental office. I believe some Hertz locations arrange for pick up too.

just a suggestion... before hiring or renting cars from a rent-a -car companies... be sure to have a background check.. better be safe than sorry...

My husband has rented cars from the Dolphin. Very easy pick up and drop off right in Disney. But if your not going back to disney maybe you could pick up at the Dolphin and then drop off at the airport. Good luck

On our Feb. trip, we rented a car from Alamo at Disney Car Center. The shuttle picked us up at our hotel (altho, DH not fond of the wait)...had to call ahead and was give 2 choices of pickup times (not fond of THAT either!) They came and took us right to the rental place, grabbed our car (er, rather free upgrade to SUV) and headed for UO. After U, headed to FIL's for couple days and returned car to MCO on way home....no problem!
