How scary is Tron?

I'm usually wary of coasters which is why I'm asking. I love Guardians, BTM and Slinky but have always shied away from RR.

I love Tron. I’ll do Guardians, love Slinky, love Mine Train, and love Big Thunder. I even really like Space Mountain. I do it like Everest or R&R.

To me, Tron is much tamer than Guardians. But I realize everyone's tolerance for "thrills" is different. It is quite fast, but I don't find it scary. No big drops or inversions on Tron, if that helps.

It is in the same ballpark as Guardians. Definitely less intense than Rockin Rollercoaster as well

It's fast, but over quickly. The launch is probably the "scariest" part, but overall it's a mild coaster - very smooth. I will say that the first time I rode it, I felt like the back-restraint didn't come down as far as it should have - like I had a little space. It freaked me out a little and I held on to the handlebars so tight it hurt my hands! Overall though, I'd say it's about on-par with Guardians.

Rockin Rollercoaster is the scariest I do. Tron was exhilarating but not scary. (I do not do Guardians because of motion sickness)

I’m very familiar with this question. DW loathes coaster rides. However, she enjoys Space Mountain, as she has fond memories of riding it with her dad. She’s also okay with Big Thunder Mountain.

She rode Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind once—and only once. She kept her eyes closed the entire time and, unfortunately, has no plans to ride it again. She has never ridden Expedition Everest, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, or similar thrill rides.

Interestingly, she has ridden TRON and really enjoys it. If you're ok riding Guardians, you should be more than ok to ride Tron.

Tron has zero scariness - it's so smooth and fun.
If the thought of being in the bike position makes you nervous, then you can request the car in the back where you sit normal. My DH did this, and he enjoyed it.

Zero scariness is not accurate. If you’re not a thrill ride person and it’s your first time the launch will freak you out and that’s basically the point since it’s the only intense part of the whole ride. Your mind is basically recovering from the launch for the rest of the ride or waiting for something of that level to happen again but it never does. So it’s not a bad ride but zero scariness is misleading. If you can handle the launch in Guardians you will be ok.

The strong launch and unique seating position might seem intense, similar to the way the backward launch on Guardians is momentarily intense. But in total TRON is only 100 seconds long (Guardians 200 seconds long), so once you get through the exhilarating launch it becomes milder and will be over before you know it. It’s a short ride really.

I love Tron. Unless you are unsettled by launch coasters, you should be able to handle it. As others have noted, its a quick, smooth ride. I assume you are ok with a launch system since you like Guardians. If you can handle that ride, Tron shouldn't be a problem at all
