How salty is the food at WDW?

We're on the dining plan and will be eating on property for our entire 5-night stay. Just curious as to how salty the food is in CS and TS locations. No one here has problems with blood pressure or anything like that, but more concerned with keeping ourselves hydrated (especially the little ones), and also water retention. I see many healthy options on the menus I have read (like grilled chicken salads, etc.), but if they pour salt all over the grilled chicken it will be overkill. Just wondering about this because I know how salty restaurant food can be in general.

No CS or TS comes to mind as having overly salty food. The grilled chicken that I have had, has always been well seasoned and enjoyable. If you are going during the hotter months you are going to have to drink plenty of liquids to stay hydrated, but that is the same in WDW or if at home.

I can't think of any meal that I found overly salty. Tastes just like food at any other restaurant. I'm sure it's hit and miss depending upon the chef in the kitchen but nothing is across the board salty.

About the only food I can think of that is salty are the McDonald's fries. With the Disney fries, I know I always have to pour salt on mine and I usually don't have to do that anywhere else.

Oh - the soft pretzels but you can also get those unsalted.

I piled up my burger with mushrooms from the topping bar. Later realized it was too salty but tasted good. It made me thirsty and uncomfortable all day.
