How rough are the Tron and Guardian rides?

There are some rides that make me feel like I got beat up, like Space Mt., RRC, EE, etc. I don't ride those anymore. I would like to try those new coasters, but not if they are too rough. I don't have any problem with Big Thunder Mt, or the 7 Dwarfs. Exactly how brutal are those new coasters?

They are quite smooth but Guardians the cars will turn. There is a section where you spiral around a planet. The car will turn towards the planet. So some people get motion sickness from the ride.

Tron is super short. So it doesn’t really have the time to mess you up.

I haven’t gone on Tron yet but have done Guardians twice. I am prone to motion sickness and while I agree it is incredibly smooth, I didn’t escape entirely unscathed (FWIW, I have zero issues on 7D or SD, but do on BT Mountain). I will say though that I recovered quickly vs Mission Space, which left me feeling awful for a solid 10 hrs! 😬

I'll echo other responders - both are exceptionally smooth. I don't normally find Space Mountain an issue (it was my favourite along with RRC) but last trip in November I felt it was significantly rougher than I'd remembered - perhaps I'm getting old! LOL

I can’t do SM or RRC because for some reason my head rattles around so much on them… but I love Guardians and Tron. Guardians is my favorite.

I don’t do rough roller coasters or any that go upside down. Guardians and Tron are very smooth. guardians is my favorite ride in all of WDW. Barnstormer is rougher than these 2.

they are smooth but guardians have a lot of spinning and if you are prone to motion sickness, be very careful lol.

Almost every time I leave the ride there is someone not feeling well

The common advice for Guardians is to keep your head and eyes looking forward. Especially if you’re prone to motion sickness.

Since the cars do move to the right or left (it is orchestrated, not like primeval hurl spinning randomly), some people would turn their head or look off to the side, or at the direction the roller coaster track is going. I found the ride easiest if I just kept my face and eyes looking straight out of our car.

Guardians made me sick......one and done. I do try everything once.
Tron,,,,,was not smooth for us. My shoulder hurt for 3 days and DH's ribs hurt for about the same amount of time. Another one and done,......but we tried it. Everyone should at least try them all.

I generally follow this advice but after the day I had following Mission: Space, I could never recommend that attraction. Am I the only one??

When we we were waiting to board I remember thinking that the number of warning signs seemed excessive especially compared to other attractions…now I know why!!

Guardians gives me awful motion sickness. Have tried it twice and won't try again. It's very smooth though - not jerky! It just moves in a way that makes me nauseous. There are only 2 rides at WDW that trigger motion sickness for me: Guardians and Mission Space.

Tron is very smooth and I don't have any motion sickness issues with it.

Guardians is smooth, but not on the stomach. I have never seen so many people get off of a ride and vomit in the trash or on the grass. YUCK! My stomach hates it.

Tron is smooth.

To me Guardians feels like roller skating through the universe.

The way the cars sway feels alot like that (the roller skating part, not the thru the universe part).

Mission space orange?

I have never had any issues with any rides before. I am talking about going to rides after eating 5 pounds of food, after drinking, etc and never had an issue. I went once to mission space orange and I almost died 😂

YES! And same - it was absolutely awful. Has this been discussed and I just missed it? I felt like such a newbie!
