How quickly do tours sell out?

A friend and I are thinking of doing the Backstage Magic tour in mid-July, but we are waiting on some trip details to be finalized before we can pull the trigger. Just curious if anyone has a sense as to if/how soon in advance tours tend to sell out?

I'm sure it's different for different tours. We did wild Africa trek in July 2016, at 8am. It never sold out - I think capacity is around 15 people (maybe 12)h, but there were only 7 of us.

I think it's fairly rare for them to sell out. None of the tours we've done have been sold out

We’ve done lots of the tours. Some are popular and sell out. Others they keep adding sessions to. Backstage Magic is one. Those can start when the park opens and go every hour till sometime in the afternoon. Wild Africa Trek is very expensive so it doesn’t always fill up.
Our favorite is Lunch with Imagineer. I couldn’t get my first choice time at 180 day adr window. But I got time later during our stay. On our previous trip I never could get in. The old Epcot Segway tour was another difficult one to schedule.

It depends on the tour. The animal tours at AK routinely sell out. The Rhino tour would probably be the hottest ticket tour.

As for the OP they should be okay with Backstage Magic.

Do you book the Rhino before you go? I thought you could book when you get there.
