How quick do you have to waive Mousekeeping?

Our flight gets in at 10:30 so we’ll be lucky to hit the resort by midnight. With 3 kids in tow I’d rather go straight to the room if we get the check in text. Can I request to waive mousekeeping the next morning or do I have to do it on arrival to make sure they skip us that first day?

Pretty sure you have to do it on arrival day. Are you solo with the kids or could one adult take the kids to the room and one go to the desk if you get the text?

I was told it had to be done on arrival day. I was in a similar situation. We got in late at night, and I headed right to our room with my daughter. I tried calling from my room, but the call center told me it could only be done in person at the desk. So I went the next morning but was told it was too late. It wasn’t really that much of a disappointment to me; we were only at Pop Century three nights so not a big deal. Good to know for the future, though.

Last November when checking in at ASMu, the cast member brought up the option of waiving housekeeping, but the conversation then got sidetracked and I never confirmed that I wished to go without. I went to the front desk the next morning and they waived it for me.
