How popular is 1st show for Jedi Training Academy?

We've never done Jedi Training Academy, but my son wants to do it during our trip this October. If we are there for rope drop, does anyone have insight on how difficult it is to get spots in the first show of the day? Crowd levels are projected to be a 6.

We are planning to park hop to AK right after, but I may reconsider if the first (or even the 2nd) show is really tough to get into.

IF you are one of the first in line, you can get the first show.
You should be at the DHS gates by 30-45 minutes before the posted opening time.
Both you and the child would head directly to the (former) "Sounds Dangerous" sign-up location.
(The orange line should be the faster route.)

They only have something like 12 kids per "class". Many people have planned the rest of their day and want that first spot. We were at rope drop and headed straight over to sign up and we were the third class of the day on a CL 4 day.

That's my concern. We're doing a different afternoon at DHS to ride rides, see shows, and do Fantasmic, so we would literally only be coming back over for Jedi Training. Decisions, decisions.
