How picky are you about haircuts?

I set my clippers to one or two and proceed to cut. I've never paid to have my hair cut in my life. I guess you could say I'm not picky at all.

Ditto. After a local barber by my house closed I went to Great Clips. They told me to go buy my own buzzer and do it myself. I took their advice 15 years ago and never looked back.

Until recently our dog's grooming was also more than our haircuts combined. DH has lost most of his now. Now I actually pay what seems like a fortune (at a place one step above great clips) to have highlights and greys added into my hair because my hair keeps getting darker and darker and it looks weird!

I thought that most woman had their hairstylist that they always went to. I know that the woman that I have been going to has a full list of long term clients. She rarely has space for new people. My hair is thick and has some fun cowlicks that makes it interesting to cut. And I can't imagine trying to go to another person each time and having them mess it up. She always has to go back when it is dry to certain areas because the hair lays differently when wet.

I had a regular hairstylist that colored and cut my hair, but when I started growing out my hair she wasn’t that supportive. She was always recommending more color vs ways to grow the bleach/color out. So, I had to go through a couple of stylists before I found the right one that accentuates my platinum (grey) highlights with the right haircut!
