Top this!
My DH rides the bus to work from a park and ride lot. This bus picks up at 3 different lots, then goes downtown. My DH gets on at stop 1.
"Fred" gets on at stop 2. Fred is completely blind. He waits in his car with his wife until all the other passengers have loaded, then his wife walks him on the bus and seats him in the seat behind the bus driver (so he can hear his stop called).
The passengers who ride this bus know which seat Fred sits in, so they make sure to keep it open. But occasionally someone who does not usually ride this bus will take Fred's seat. The other passenger's will politley let the occupant know that Fred will be sitting there, and the newcomer will move.
Can you see where this is going?
Yesterday "JA" (hmm, I wonder what that stands for) gets on the bus at stop 2 and sits in Fred's seat. He is politely informed that Fred is going to be getting on, told him the situation, could he please give up his seat. JA then starts cussing and yelling at the other passengers, "you give up your bleeping seat" etc.
Fred ended up getting a seat, but further back on the bus.
Not what kind of person do you have to be to not give up your seat to a BLIND PERSON!

or that the bus driver didn't ask the man to move. He should have been removed for being vulgar.
It's happened to me more than once!
