how old were...

They weren't born yet.
Actually what happened was I had a m/c in October 1998, got pregnant again in January, had problems very early on, was told I was most likely miscarrying again.
DH and I were sad, assumed I would be working for longer than we had planned, had plenty of disposable income, so went out and bought a new car and bought DVC to make ourselves feel better..next OB appointment oh look there's a heartbeat! Everything is well!
Yay!
Ohhh crap we just spent A LOT of money...
:rotfl:
DD was born October 1999 and went on her first DVC trip when she was 3.5 months old. Best money we ever spent.;)

Our girls were 10 and 7, and had been there multiple times before we purchased. The youngest was there at 2 months. They're now 25 and 22, and our first grandchild is due in October. It'll be a whole new chapter in Disney experiences. I can't wait.

Our oldest was 5.5 yrs. old when we finally bought. In hindsight we should have bought years before that since we had been taking him 2-3 times a year since he was ten months old but what is that old saying..... ;)

We might (big might) wait until the youngest is 5 before we add on.

twins - 10. we took them three times before buying in. now they're in college and cant wait to get back there with us on our Jan trip..

We looked at DVC when I was expecting DD#1 but didn't buy then (totally regret that.) Then purchased when DD#1 was 2 and DD#2 was 1.

It was 3 years ago..my girls were 3,2 and not yet born..lol They have all been there so many times, it has been great. My 2 yo has been to WDW 4-5 times already!!!

My DD wasn't born yet either. We were DINKs and had plenty of disposable income. I can't say that now :rotfl2:.

no kids.

my Dnew was 4, and my Dnie was 2.

they had just gone on their first trip to Disney. When we were leaving - mother was complaining - she would get sad everytime we left Disney then.

so when he asked why she was upset - told him she just doesn't want to leave Disney. He told me that he didn't either.

when I got home brought DVC.

Kids were 14 and 11 when we bought - they'd been there twice before when 11/8 and 13/10. They are now 26/23.

They've since been with friends (ie without us) when aged 20/17 and we are assuming we'll go with their children some time in the future

31 and no grandkids either! We clearly bought for our own personal enjoyment and for the ability to share with friends and family. I am like a kid when I'm there and believe me, I'm no kid :rotfl2:

Well technically my mom ( gramma ) took the plunge, but my kids were 3,6 and 9 years old. ( She did it for the grandkids afterall )

Our two boys were 16 and 10. Started the buying process a few years earlier, but my husband got a job transfer a few days into the process so we cancelled and finally got the opportunity to buy!!! Wish we could have bought sooner, but we had to roll with the dice for a little bit there.

My first child was just about to turn 1 and now he's about to turn 3 so I've had my DVC for exactly two years! Now I have a 3 month old and my goal is to finish paying of my first contract in the next 9 months so that when the new babe is nearly a year I can add more on! I figure if I keep adding a few hundred w/ each kid we'll be set! :lovestruc

My DS was 5 and my DD was 3. That was 7 years ago - now we have a 10 month old DD who gets to go for the first time in a week! My husband thinks I had her just to extend going to Disneyworld with kids longer...Not quite - but a very good excuse for another baby!

Our DD was 18 months and DS was not born yet! They are now 7 & 3 1/2!!! Since we added on a year after DS was born he has been to WDW 6 times and including HHI, he is going on DVC trip #8 - not bad for someone 3 1/2 yo old!!! :)

My DD was 2 and my son was not born yet.. She is now 5 and he is 1.:goodvibes
