Just Curious, I prefer your actual age, but you can just answer the poll if you like.

I was 19, one month from 20. So technically I was a teenage mother. I had my second at 20, a month from being 21. Though I am done now and don't plan on any more children. My boys are a year and 3 days apart. I was really tough when they were little, but now they are almost 10 & 11 it actually works out very nicely. I love them very much and wouldn't change a thing. Though I truly was young and stupid. I have since graduated college and have a good job. And found my DH, who is a great father to my boys. (I know TMI, but I just can't stop myself :goodvibes )

DD1, now 19, I was 23. DD2 I was 33.

My one and only daughter was born when I was 39.

I was 27 when I gave birth to my first and 29 with my second. One of my goals was to be done having kids by the time I was 30 and I managed to accomplish that one

I was 19 with my first, 20 with second, 21 with third & 22 with my 4th :thumbsup2

I was 28 with my first DD and 30 with my 2nd princess: princess:

I had my daughter a month after I turned 28 and had my son 3 weeks before I turned 30.
2 kids before 30, mission accomplished. :goodvibes

I was 20. Seems young, but I was very ready. I don't know what I would ever do without him. He remembers everything for me, reminds me of things, even found my $500 camera when I left it on a ride in WDW. :)

I am 35, have been married for 15 years, and have no kids (by choice).

I turned 30 9 days before my 1st was born (I was rather hoping she would be born on my brithday. ;) )

My 2nd I was 33 years old.

Not sure if we are done now or not, but I will be over 35 if we have anymore (my brithday is next month.) :teeth:

Wow, what a variety of ages on this poll so far.

When did you start planning for children?

Being the dork that I am, SO and I had a talk about children a year ago and decided we would have kids in 7 years, we have 6 more years to go, I guess we are a bit anal on planning our lives out so far in advance.

Dear SO had the nerve to mention strollers yesterday, as if we would get a 6 year old stroller  She seems to think that since we are planning on having 2 children we should buy a double stroller from the start.

With her luck she'll probably have twins anyway, her mother, her sister, her brother, her grandmother, her aunt and her cousins ALL had twins.

I was 28 when I had DD2.

ETA: She was DEFINATELY planned - it took us a little over a year for her.

We are currently not trying but not preventing, if you get my drift! :thumbsup2

I was 25 with my first and 28 with my second.

ETA: We started planning children the day we found out I was pregnant :rotfl: . With my second we started planning when my older son was about 2.

I has my first son a month shy of my 19th brithday. It was not planned. My second son was born 20 months later. He was planned. I will be 26 when #3 is born and this baby was also planned. My husband is 7 years older than I.
