How old were you when you bought into DVC?

I was 30, and my wife was 22. Almost 2 years and one baby girl ago.

I am 31, and DH is 28. We closed in August. We have 2 DD ages 5 and 2.

We purchased in '93, DH said it was a birthday present for me. I was 38 and he was 39. We purchased knowing that our kids and grandkids( not yet..PLEASE) will be the ones to fully enjoy it.

Sounds like DVC will be a senior citizens club near the end of the 42 years!!

We joined last year. I was 44 and my wife was 18 (just kidding - 39!).

We do not have any kids, so we may sell out before the complete 42 years.

Let's see, DW was 38 and I was 41. The next time DW was 39 and I was 42. The last time, DW was 41 and I was 44.:D It's somewhat addictive!

We were on our honeymoon when we bought over 2 years ago. I was almost 38 and DH was 43. I got pregnant in Disney and our DD has been there twice already with a 3rd trip for her planned in Feb. DH plans to use all 40 years left!

DH and I were both 46. Kids are in college; they're going to have to fight us for the points:D

Well, If you MUST know, I was 43, and DW was 42 when we bought in at BWV. We just did an add-on at HHI and I am now 45, and DW is 43, so I figure I will be enjoying the Beach\WDW in the golden age of 83 or so........

Hope I am around to enjoy it!!LOL! They DO have wheelchairs at WDW, don't they?

I was 40 when we joined in '91, and I'm determined to be there when 2042 rolls around.

I can see a lot of requests for "ground floor" from us "senior OKW members in the future.;)

DH and I were 41 when we purchased our initial BWV in '99; 42, 43, and 44 with addons! (Just added HH points on our recent trip). Who says you have to have kids to buy DVC?!? :D There are always nieces and nephews, in-laws, friends... which is one of several reasons we bought!

We bought this May, after our first trip to WDW; I just turned 37 and my DH is 30 (okay, no smart remarks). :D

Main reason: then 2 year old daughter batted her big brown eyes at her Dad. When we got on the plane to go home and those eyes filled with tears and the lip started to quiver; my DH asked her when she wanted to come back. She promply stated, "at 3, after my nap". We purchased an OKW resale the following week.

We joined in '93 my wife says I was like an 11 year old, you know what I still am everytime we go through those gates. I was really 47. (ah... to be young again)

LOL, dvcreg....

they might have to put in electric "people movers" (like at the airport) to get us to the BWV elevators! :D

I'm mid-40's (that's close enough), and my DW seems to be stuck at 39. ;)

Bought on my 43rd B-Day, now I am 44 going on 10 years old emotionaly when it comes to Disney.
