We recently replaced the dishwasher, washer and dryer, cooktop and range hood.

However, our refrigerator is original to the house, as are the wall ovens. The fridge is 29 years old! It still works like a charm.

We replaced the heating elements in the electric wall ovens and they both still work fine.

So, how old is your oldest appliance??

My range and dishwasher are 17 years old. The oven just recently quit working but my goal when I bought the house was to eventually get all stainless steel appliances (I have mismatched appliances right now) so I'm using that as an excuse to get a new range. :D Dishwasher still going strong.

Nothing is older than the house.....it was built in 2008. We haven't replaced any appliances yet.

Our fridge which is 12 years old. I LOVE my no frills fridge and hope it lasts forever. Sadly appliances just don’t last like they used to.
I agree! We moved to a new house 15 years ago. We put our old, plain refrigerator that we bought in 1999 in the garage, and bought a new "nicer" one for the kitchen. That one was repaired three times and replaced two years ago. The old one in the garage has never needed a repair and still works perfectly!

Dryer and stove new in 2003

We have repaired the dryer twice with you tube videos years ago. I don't find it able to dry fast enough anymore. It will be replaced soon with s Speed Queen.

Knock on wood, oven is still fine.

Replaced fridge and dishwasher 3 years ago and washer about 5 years ago

Until a few months ago, we had a 30 year range. Bottom element burnt out for the second time. Debated on getting it repairs or go new. And there were burn spots (like small holes) in the bottom of the oven. Was concerned fix this , fix that....so got new one. But we have a dryer about 20.

We've been in this house for 42 years. Bought new. We've had three fridges, three dishwashers, 3 clothes washers, 2 dryers, 3 ranges, 2 freezers. The first dishwasher, range and fridge came with house, not very good ones.

large appliance-fridge in the garage (22 years old)

small? the kitchen aid model k mixer i am the proud 3rd owner of (a friend's grandmother passed it down to friend's mom and friend gave it to me when his mom passed)...............

84 years old (1937 was the introduction of the mixer and mine was manufactured that year).

Refrigerator - close to 35 years - been in my garage for 30 of those years - this current house the garage is not finished (new house we have not done it yet) - this past winter I thought it killed the refrigerator but once it warmed up - she was running again 😎
They just don’t make them like this any more - 20 cubic ft top and bottom paid $400 - love this refrigerator
As for house refrigerator - I’ve gone thru 5

Freezer - stand up freezer - close to 25 years - I had two but stated garage killed one - other one in laundry room (they both would not fit - eventually going to basement - it’s not finished - need to put in electric )

Both appliance from Sears - I do miss getting my appliances from them - I don’t feel the quality of things today is what it used to be
My parents had a washer and dryer - they lasted over 40 years - unheard of in this throw away day and age
Don’t even get me started on dishwashers - I believe I’m about to purchase #10 - all the research in the world has not helped - I have rotten luck with them and washing machines !! Haa haa

We have this round electric Faberware firing pan we got for our wedding, so 43 years old. I was going to get a new one, but not only do they not sell them anymore, used ones go for $50 on Ebay

All of our kitchen appliances except the refrigerator were 25+ years old, and we are now in the middle of a full kitchen renovation. Lots of stuff is backordered, so we are currently trying (with some success) to master our spaceship cooktop and refrigerator while waiting for the microwave and dishwasher. Our new oven is sitting in the living room waiting for its sister microwave.

Our refrigerator is only a few years old, but we don't like it, so we're giving it to one of my DD's.

Dryer from 1972. I‘ve seldom used it for the last 40 years. I prefer to hang wash outside or in the basement. My daughter uses it a couple of times a year.

Oven was new when house was built 1984. We moved in in 1999. Had to change the top heating element once, abut 20 years ago. Our fridge in the laundry is of indeterminate age, I suspect about 35 years ago. It’s a no frills one for sure. We also have my grandmother’s Singer sewing machine. She passed on 31 years ago. I suspect it was her mother’s. Extremely old. I don’t use it because I use the Brother sewing machine that was a high school graduation gift 40 years ago. My husband had it serviced a few years ago. Works like new again.

Fridge, which is 19-20 years old now.

We just had to replace the microwave and replaced our washer & dryer last year, but all of our other appliances are original to the house (which was new build), so 15 yrs old.

Freezer is over 40 years old. Jenn-Air Range (separate from the oven) is 44 years old -- original equipment with the house.

I don't think I have any appliance over 10 years old. I moved in here in 2001 and everything has needed to be replaced since then, including all the new appliances that came with the house.
