How Old is Too Old for Nudity?

As another poster mentioned, I too thought this was about Orient Beach nudity. Funny thing was the first topless sighting we had there, the lady was in her late 60's or 70's and extremely wrinkly and saggy. Not a pretty sight.

As far as thongs go, there was a Brazilian family on our cruise w/ 2 little girls maybe 5 and 7. We were at port and I saw the one little girl had a short coverup on and you could see her whole butt cheek. I thought, geez her mom should fix her suit. Well, lo and behold, we saw them later that afternoon on the ship and BOTH the little girls had thongs on. It was very disturbing.

Is it just me who thinks there is something creepy about a buck naked 4-year-old old running around in front of a crowd of people?

At the 3-4 year range?...I'd have to say I'd think it was you.

I can't continue a side discussion that requires my professional skills unless you want to send me $75 via Paypal.

errrr....ok.....

I was drawn in by the title!! I was thinking older people having everything head south!!! Which to me would be a worse thing to see!!! Can't comment on kids.....I'd have to see it first hand, to say yes it offends me. Without seeing it, I will say, I don't think young kids like that would send offensive red flags off!! As long as the kids didn't seem to mind and they weren't embarrassed and being FORCED to stand naked! Young kids don't seem to no the difference sometimes.

Off subject...my mom took my DS into the dressing room, so she could try on a bathing suit. Mind you, my mom is a woman over 55, who has lost over 130 lbs in the last 2.5 yrs. She takes her bra off........my DS starts laughing. He points and says"Nama.......I see your belly button!!!" :rotfl2: By that point he was laughing hysterically!!!!! He had no idea, he was 5!!!!!

I find it very interesting that people are concerned about perverts seeing your child at Disney, yet many of you are posting photos of your children with your comments on the world wide web. Interesting.

But they are not NAKED----HUGE difference! You can see kids like mine in my signature anywhere...on the street, at schools, etc. There is nothing unique about regular pics of kids. But if they were naked, that's a different story.

I say, the lady wearing the thong gets what she asks for from my crew. My boys aren't shy about laughing and pointing:dance3: , even while I'm smacking their fingers down and saying in a hushed voice "stop that". Tweens, can't live with them, can't live without them.:headache:

On our Dec cruise there was a lady at the Mickey pool who had both of her girls stripped down Naked. I would say one was 6ish and the other was 4 or 5ish. I swear she let them stand there naked for a good 10 min. while she lathered them up with sunblock. My DD (17) and I just thought maybe she could of put the sunblock on in their room instead of on deck right at pool side.

My DS loved to be naked at home until he turned about 6.5. It is just my personal opinion, I would not want others to see my child naked for any reason. I don't think it is gross for a child to be naked, I just don't want strangers to see them.

:rotfl: :rotfl: I had the pleasure :sad2: of seeing the very HAIRY dad in a thong at the Mickey Pool last December...my dd, 14, couldn't finish eating her burger cause he was sitting right in front of her chair and the back hair was grossing her out!

Hey, PD!! :wave2: Pointing out that it wasn't ME! I was too busy with stealth kitty postings......and avoiding pumpkin pie.......

This is turning into a 12/2/06 Magic reunion thread with momof 6 and Penske here too! Hi guys! How did I miss all of this pool action?? ...and what does it say about us that we've been drawn in by the subject title???

The guys below send their best!

I had to laugh because we are the recipients each year of a now CD, was VHS tape of the events of the year in the life of one of my siblings and their family.

They always have several family scenes which include BIL's 72 year old mother on vacation nude in some remote hot spring. This family is very hippie like and feels being nude is "liberating". Clearly not a video to be shared with other than family members but it goes to their entire Xmas card list.

Sigh.........

:surfweb:

I would be more disturbed by kids under 10 wearing a thong. They seriously even make those?

Hey Drclaws!

We miss the kitties!! Their pictures are on Nicole's bedroom wall:lmao:

Yes, unfortunately, we kept running into this guy...he was also in front of us in line for portraits and his little boy pointed at him and the hairy guy said "you point at me again and I'm gonna break off that finger!" Geeezzz, the little boy was only around 3 years old.:sad2:

Hello PD and DRCLAWS!!:)

We only went to the Mickey pool one time. DH is very hairy, DS(9) and I always try and take the razor to him!!!:rotfl2:

He isn't covered with hair it is just like on his shoulders and his arms...It is still gross! He did let us shave his shoulders ONCE!! I couldn't see him in a thong though!!!

I wouldn't have noticed nor thought anything of it. But then I'm a pre-k teacher with a bathroom in my classroom. I have maybe one kid every 2 or 3 years who will actually close the door while using the toilet. Most of them strip down and use the toilet with the door wide open. Some even carry on conversations with other kids who are in the classroom while sitting on the toilet. They never seem to notice the boy/girl differences either. It's not unusual for a 4 or 5 year child to come out of the bathroom with pants around ankles. So I guess you could say that I'm so accustomed to seeing young children at least partially nude, I never think anything of it. My DH may have noticed or commented on it because he's much more conservative about that sort of thing and it's not something he sees regularly now that our kids are a bit older. I guess my opinion is that nudity in children is fine with me up to about age 6 or so, especially under the conditions described by the OP. I would think that most kids would object after about age 6. That seems to be the age when they begin to be a bit more self conscious about their bodies.

Glad to see I wasn't the only one who mistakenly thought the kid was in the thong (same train of thought...What kind of weirdo designs thong bathingsuits for 4 yr olds?):lmao:

Off topic- OP your nudey blogs were hilarious. I;m gonna go now so I can catch up on the 'Mommas' adventures...

Glad you enjoyed the blog! If you're ever in the area in Oct., I HIGHLY recommend visiting the Cypress Cove Nude Art Show. Just be prepared for what my friend calls the "Porky Pigs," i.e. chubby men wearing golf shirts but no bottoms whatsoever! Lots of 'em playing tennis that way.
