How old is too old for character dining and autograph books?

I don't think you can be too old. I like character meals and when I was 21 I went with 7 sorority sisters (age range 20-22) to Disney and we did a character meal, we had a blast and the characters we will us for a good amount of time. I also still like getting my picutre taken with the characters also.

Our 3 teen ds are 18,16 and 14 and since my dining plan is one good meal a day which is usually a buffet and it usually has characters, they put up with it since they know they wont eat. I guess you can say I hold them hostage and also the picture we choose goes into everyones christmas cards. Hmm, the disney relatives strike again. I think ds quit the autographs around 11.Maybe 12.

My boyfriend is 22, I'm 23.....see my sig below! yes, BF is wearing his Mickey Ears! You're never too old for character meets and autographs! I put the pictures and the signatures in our scrapbook!

It's all in the mind. If you think you are to old, you are. I personally, am a 30 year old manly man who works in a prison and went to college on an athletic scholarship. If my DS4 gets in my way if I see Goofy, he may get hurt! In my mind, I'm not too old. Have a great one.

I'd say about 93 yrs old. You just hold up the buffet line too long with the walker Grannie

All kidding aside - never too old to be a kid again. That's why Walt built the place.

I feel like whenever the kids no longer enjoy the character stuff then that's the time to maybe skip it.

And those times come in stages. Kids go from really loving all the character stuff, to being to old/cool for that kinda thing, then back to really loving it as they get a little older.

Sometimes you may need to give a child a break from it if they aren't really enjoy that kinda thing, but I think it all goes in phases.

However, I don't think their is a specific age that is to old to enjoy Disney characters. I'm in my 20s and I will gladly walk up to a character and get my picture taken and go to character dining. As long as you are having fun, you are never to old.

I am 29 years old and I still get pictures taken with the characters :p The 2 mice from Cinderelly are my favorite :goodvibes Suzy and Perla are the names of the 2 female mice from Cinderelly. I get lots of pictures taken with Suzy and Perla at the Magic Kingdom :goodvibes I also have dinner at the 1900 Park Fair all the time, because I want a character meal with Suzy and Perla :p

Hey...I bought both of my kids 15 and 11 autograph books because 'they' asked for them. They are the ones with an insert for pictures on one page and the autograph on the other. I don't know how they will act once they are actually confronted by the characters to sign, but they seem excited now to do it. ALSO...my mom who happens to be 67...she has her own autograph book too...and I am sure she is planning on doing both as well. (I bought it for her...hee hee)

Just my 2 cents! :thumbsup2

Im not sure if you can ever outgrow it. At least I havent. And Im 41. I understand if teens begin to think its not cool anymore. If we see a character, we will stop and get a picture with them but tend to forgo the autograph unless we have never gotten their autograph before.

My teen would never get his picture taken with the characters, or go to a character meal. My DH and I can and will do both! I would say my son stopped the character thing around 13 - the summer we were at DL.
