How old is too old for a stroller?

The last time we took a stroller for DS was just after he turned 4 and then it was usually parked or carrying our stuff. I don't think he was even in it that much when he was 3.5. We would now use a stroller for DD but it would not even cross DS's mind to get in it. When we went right after he turned 6 he did not ask once for a ride/seat.

If it works for you I guess I have to say do what you have to do but I think the number of stollers is out of hand at WDW.

4 and under - definitely use a stroller
5-6 - grey area... Depends on kid and circumstances
7+ too old for stroller

This is totally just my opinion. In the end you have to do what is best for your family.. And who cares what other people think.

Not to hijack this thread, but the next time we are planning to go my youngest will be 4 years 9 months and my oldest will be just about to turn 7. We NEVER use a stroller at home. I know my husband would say no way to bringing a stroller, but I think our younger son would like a place of his own to rest. The problem is that my 90th percentile older son will want to ride, too, I know it! He's four feet tall and a solid 58 lbs. now. I could not imagine pushing him in a stroller. Don't know what we'll do. I think part of me just wants the stroller to put stuff in, too, even though I tend to be a minimalist. I don't like carrying stuff on my back. Hm.
