How old are you?

I'm just about 54.

I'm going to move this to our community board for you.

I'm 23 and I always feel sick when I hear that they're going to close or change a ride. I nearly cried when I first heard they were gonna close CoP. Thankfully it's still open (sometimes).

I am 24 years old. I am glad that Disney constantly evolves so that it is always fresh. However, I think that part of what makes Disney World so wonderful is that it has so much more than thrill rides. Quite frankly, that is why I love it so much. I do not like thrill rides, and there is so much that I can still enjoy at WDW. Contrastingly, there is nothing at all for me to do at a regular amusement park like Six Flags.

I very much enjoyed some of the old attractions, but many of their replacements are even better, in my opinion. For instance, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride was a fine attraction, but I enjoy Winnie the Pooh much more. And judging by the long lines at that attraction on every trip I take, I'm not the only one, LOL! Of course, there are attractions that didn't necessarily change for the better. I think Disney realized that with the Journey Into Your Imagination, so they brought Figment back.

There is certainly value in keeping the classic attractions as well. For example, what would Disney World be without the Haunted Mansion? It's classic Disney at its best. The Carousel of Progress and Spaceship Earth are two other attractions that I hope Disney does not close.

I hope that Disney continues to have a nice mix of attraction types so that everyone can find something that appeals to them. There are some incredibly well themed thrill rides, interesting stage shows, classic attractions, slow moving attractions with unbelievable themes, etc. That variety is what makes WDW so wonderful.

I'm 24 and I LOVE thrill rides, but I DO NOT want WDW to turn into a thrill ride park. I love WDW for what it is...it's unique rides that are for everyone to enjoy is what makes WDW so magical and special. I definitely don't want them to close and demolish old rides for new thrill rides. If WDW wants to add a seperate park w/ just thrill rides, fine, I think that's a great idea that would get more peole to WDW. But leave the rest like it is. :)

I'm 33, but my ds swears I'm 21.:teeth: I went to WDW the first time when there was just 1 park.:) I went back in 2000 when they had 4 parks and the water parks. I like the new changes in between. I rode 20,000 Leagues on the first trip and I was sad it wasn't there in 2000.:(

I'm 24 and I really wish that CoP was going to be open when we go down in November but from all my research that is very most likely not going to be the case. :(

I'm only 27, and I miss those old ones that I got to see, and regret not being *able* to see those that are now long gone, both at WDW and DL. There are very few classics that I think were replaced by something truely *better*. :(

I'm going to turn 45 in the parks this December! Yes I miss the old attractions but I love the new ones too! The last time we were in MK we got stuck in COP the same theme for three songs,
My kids thought they were going to die. LOL it was really funny. Maybe this is why they shut it so often.

I am 30 and 6/8 years old. I first went to WDW in 1982, the year EPCOT Center opened. Unfortunately, I only got back once in the years before 1996. Since then, my now DH and I have been back almost every year. I have few memories of the rides that are closed, with the exception of Mr. Toad and the Skyway.
DH is a big fan of things that are exciting, not of things that are educational. So we never went on CoP, or Timekeeper, etc. I think we were missing out, but he says we save time.
I enjoy thrill rides, but I hope that any new ones they introduce will be done with the Disney magic that we are accustomed to. Complete theming, such as in ToT and RnR, or TT. I like the Buzz Lightyear ride, and Pooh is all right, although I can't see that it is any better than Mr. Toad. Maybe they should have ADDED Pooh, and educated the new generation as to who Mr. Toad is!

I am 42 and long for the "good old days."

I'm 16, and I love CoP!!

I love thrill rides, but Disney doesn't seem like the place for the biggest, fastest roller coasters. I can go to Cedar Point if I want that. I go to Disney for the magic.

I am 49 (will be 50 on the 31st!!!) and what I miss the most is the sky ride at the MK.
