How often would you need yo visit Disney to make buying in worth it?

We prefer going to DL, and have taken 2 Disney cruises.

We have kids aged 10, 13, 16.

Is this something we should be considering buying into?

I think at least every other year - we would then purchase half the amount (add a few extra for cushion) we would need for the amount of time, place, size of unit we would like or think we might stay.

I think EOY as well. If you prefer going to DL, buy at VGC. Don't use your points for DCL, pay cash instead.

Anything more than EOY, I would advice you to rent.

We bought intending to go once very three years. We might even do once every four years. That is the beauty of DVC it is that flexible. We bought points at AKV and have added on at VGC so we can visit both coasts. What is important is using all the points you buy not how often you visit.

We have increased our visits since we bought. Increased our points too. Twice Buying annual passes and TIW......we gotta go back. Right?
