How often would you go to Disneyworld?

3 times per year which we are going to try this year June, Dec and April 2010. It will be a dream but then I know we will take a break for a year or two.:sad1:

We go every other year now, even when we can't afford it. ;) If we could afford it I'd go once a year. I love the anticipation and the planning of a trip, but always feel let down when we get back. So a year of planning would be great. Don't get me wrong, if we hit the lottery I'd probably go more often, but realistically, once a year would be awesome!!!

We've gone annually since 2004. If I had unlimited resources, I'd go twice a year...once with the kids and once without them. The trip without them could be just 3 or 4 days, because without them the only park I'd go to is Epcot. I'd spend the rest of my time poolside at YC, and have one meal at California Grill.

I'd say about 3 times a year...honestly probably more but DH wouldn't go for it :)

I'd like to be there late Oct, Dec and March. I do not like super hot weather and get very grumpy if I'm too hot for too long (it was a long pregnancy, lol) so the late spring and summer are out for us.

I wouldn't mind throwing a Disneyland trip in there too :)

I'd go once a year if I could. There are so many other places I'd be going too (if I had those unlimited funds!) that I can't see going more often from this distance.

My husband and I actually discussed moving to Orlando so we could go once a month. ;) But if we were traveling from Canada I guess twice a year would be ideal.

Honestly, if you could afford it, how often would you like to go to Disneyworld?

If money and time off were no object, here's what we would do:

Year 1: Go to WDW for 2-3 weeks in the fall
Year 2: Go to Europe for 2-3 weeks in the spring (probably France again, France!)

Etc.

Of course, I imagine that at some point, our boys will ask to only go to Europe - at which time, we'll do that!

I know a lot of DISers will think I'm crazy for not wanting to go more often, but there are so many other places we want to go (especially in Europe - Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, etc.) that WDW really is not the be-all end-all for us. Sorry :flower3:

If money were no object and DW was willing, I would go spring break (March), summer break (June), fall break (October), and Christmas break. Obviously we would get APs for that many trips.
I dont expect to ever do that, but I would love to.

Once every 2 years. We took our boys to Mexico last spring (they were 6 and 8) and that is all they talk about. while we all love Disney, there is a lot out there to also enjoy.

Well as this is our first trip ever with the kids, I'll have to reserve judgement until I see how it goes, but in an ideal world I'd like to go once a year. Just enough time to plan and have the anticipation build. Since we drive from Canada, I think once a year is enough of a road trip that size.

Also, there is a little girl in DD's class who goes 3-4 times per year. Sometimes just for a weekend and sometimes for a couple of weeks. I overheard a bunch of kids discussing Disney and who had gone (everyone) and who hadn't yet (DD only apparently - poor deprived thing). This little 6 year old said "Oh, I've been to Disney LOTS of times, my parents take me all the time" with this attitude like been there, done that. I don't want my kids to lose the magic that I hope they will feel in June.

I would love to go to Disney once each year, and then go to another different destination each year also. So two big vacations each year. That way we get to see Disney, plus all the other places that interest us.

Our reality is we go to Disney every other year, and usually a much smaller cheaper destination on the alternate years.

Currently we are at 2 times a year...this past year we did 4 times...
If I could afford it, I would do 3-4 times a year. My kids really enjoy it, and since we got married there, I obviously do to...:goodvibes

My son always asks if we can hop on a plane and go to Disney...we've done that too when he was little...once right before Martin Luther King Day I was having such a bad day at work and I called my husband and was like, I need to get out of here...and we were in Disney that weekend! :rotfl: That was the best..I loved when we could do that!!!

When I win the Lottery:rotfl2:I am going to move to florida and go to Disney every day:cool1: I would live on Main Street USA if I could.
Then on the days the season pass didn't work we could go check out another park or place.:flower3:

More than I do now...which is 2-3 times a year (8-12) days each trip.

Even if money were not an issue, schedules would be. I would love to go for 2 weeks every year, but I'm not crazy about being there in the summer and I wouldn't take the kids out of school for that long.

That being said, I would love to go once a year. My dream is that after the kids are grown DH and I would do several 4-5 day trips a year.

I totally agree. We have been going almost every two years since my daughter was 2. Asked her where she wanted to go for a high school graduation gift trip and her answer was what else "Disney World". Will be there in July.

If money was no object, I would love to go at least once a year, but twice would be awesome!! It would have to be at Halloween, thats my favorite time to go.
