How often lost luggage when using ME?

Okay, we leave in 11 days so I am now in psycho nervous mode: what did I forget? Did I research enough on the Dis? I'm supposed to be the Disney "authority" in the family, etc. But now I have a new fear: losing luggage to ME! Our family is the standard for whatever can happen, WILL happen. Have many of you had your luggage misplaced by ME?

We used ME for a one way from Mco to WL for DH and two DS's last October. They had 4 checked bags including one we had borrowed from DMIL. Wouldn't you know it, when the bags came there were only 3 of them and the missing one was DMIL bag.

WL valet services asked for a description of the bag. Her bag was a nondescript black bag that looks like the many thousands/millions of luggage that gets handled daily. I'm not sure how they did it but that bag was in our room by the next morning.

What had happened was that the ME tag had come off in transit so ME didn't even get the bag to start off with. We did have another tag on the bag with our names on it so that's how I think they were able to locate the bag. I'm just so amazed that they were able to find, identify the bag as ours, and do this so quickly! That bag could have easily been lost in oblivion.

Worry about everything else but your luggage. It will all get to Disney and your room.
