How often does your mail carrier make a delivery mistake?

It happened again today. We got mail for a family with the same house number, but on a different street. Last week we had a piece of the next-door neighbor's mail.

I really don't mind. Walking it over is no trouble at all. It just seems to be happening more now than I remember in the past.

How about you? How often do you get the wrong mail?

I voted "once per week."

LOTS and lots. WE used to get DH's uncle's mail all the time. He has one number that is the same, but not the street or the house number only the last name... stupid. sigh.

Last week we got neighbor's mail..... Never know around here.

I live in Chicago, where the mail service can be spotty at best, But at my current apartment, where I've lived for a few years, our mail carrier is absolutely the best, as long as I've lived here, he hasn't made a mistake in my mail delivery.

We are rural and it happens about once a month I guess- sometimes more though. And I do mind because it means we don't get our stuff sometimes- and my magazines disappear too! So much for a federal offense.....And I don't get mail that is even close to our home- not same number just random stuff.

ALL THE FREAKIN' TIME!!!! It really, really ticks me off...I have even complained to the post office and I swear that just made it worse.

I have a P.O. Box just to make sure my neighbor doesn't get any of my mail. They hate us and probably would dispose of our mail.

Our mail is always correct...it doesn't come till after 5pm everyday, but at least it's always ours.

If our neighbors ever get our mail, well, they never give it to us. Hmm....

It the machines not the mail carriers here in the city.

We always get the same persons mail week after week they are about 6 blocks to the south and the street names are not even close.

I have as much Paperless accounts as I can just because of this.
