how often does your family travel to disney?

We went to universal and just the Magic kingdom last year. Our DD was 4 at the time. We are planning a trip for Thanksgiving 2009 when she will be 7. We probably won't go back for another 2-3 years after that. While we live within 8 hours driving distance of Orlando, gas prices may put us off for a while after 2009.

We've done disneyland quite a few times the last few years just because we're in the west coast and we can drive or fly inexpensively. We've done it annually since 2004, but multiple trips in each year. This'll be our 1st year in 5 years not going to DL since we're going to WDW for the 1st time ever. I'd like to make disney and annual trek, whether it be WDW, a WD cruise, DL, TDL, HK DL or DLP. After our trip to WDW this year, we'll be planning our trip to Tokyo DL for next spring.

After our initial trip with the kids in 2006 , our plans were to go every other year. Then we realized that in fall 2008 we would have a 6mo , so we went again in 2007 . So now our plans are to go in fall 2009, putting us back to every other year. Make sense?

We go every two or three years. It all depends on budget, where the Army has us living, and other vacation interests.
After DS goes to college, Dh may be overseas, so DD and I might go more often. I think that would be a blast.
There's a ranch near Gatlinburg that I really want to go to also. I'm trying to talk DH into going in 2009. It would be a week of horse riding and white water rafting. LOL That ALMOST sounds as good as Dinsey.

Every year for the last 12 years but this year starting to look a little dim due to the economy . But with 1 month 3 weeks and 2 days, I still have my fingers crossed

We try to go every 3 years. With 4 kids it is really pricey though!

This will be our 3rd time in 4 yrs. This will be our last time going to WDW for a while. I wanted to go a bunch of times while the kids were young and would love it. My DH wants us to do something different for our next vacation and my DS want to go to the Bahamas.

We took our boys for the first time in 2005 then in 2007 (July) and we're going in Sept 2008. We plan on going once a year until they don't want to go anymore!

I try to take at least one of the kids once a year. In 2007 we went once, in 2008 I am hoping to go twice. My two youngest kids have autism so I have only brought one of them at a time. I am thinking about bringing them both in November, 2008. We'll see how that goes!!

We seem to make it to WDW once every 2-3 years. We have a trip planned for CA this summer and will be making a stop at DL for a few days. I hope to go on the DCL for our next big Disney vacation in a few years.

We went in 2003 and fell in love with Disney!! In 2004 we had a 2nd baby. But in 2005 we went back for our first year of free dining. We have gone every year since in Sept. for free dining. My DS(3) has spent every birthday in disney. We look forward to the trip to disney all year. My DS(3) has been packed since April.. I plan to go every year....

We have gone once a year since 1996. We went twice in 2000. I went in December for a few days with friends and my husband and I are heading down for a few days June 2nd. We are taking our family trip to WDW in December.
We finally joined DVC last year, should have done it 12 years ago, so we are able to go a little more.

2007 - three times, total of about 23 days
2006 - twice, about 15 days

When the kids were younger we went every year. Now that they've gotten older and have other interests, every 3-5 years.

We've been going since 2003, we went twice in 2005 and again in 2006 and on our 2007 trip we became DVC members and did our first DVC stay in February 2008.
We are going again in October 2008 and doing the seven night cruise and staying at SSR two days before the cruise and one night on our return.
We probably won't go back until 2010 to give us a break with our new baby who is coming on Friday and we want to take our kids to other parks like Canobie Lake in N.H., Dutch Wonderland, Dorney Park and Hershey in PA.

We started going to Disney about 4 years ago. My DD was 4--Going once every year. Last year we went twice. We will be there 2 weeks this summer--staying offsite in a villa and are going back for a girls trip in September with free dining. It's hard to get my huband to go more than once a year.

Owning DVC and getting AP's helps. We also budget in our WDW vacations along with our other monthly bills because it is that important to us.
