How often does the entertainment change?

I'm considering booking for Feb 2017 - either the Magic or the Wonder.
We will have been on the Wonder in Aug 2016 (6 months before), and the Magic in feb 2015 (2 years before).
Is the nightly entertainment likely to be the same? How often do the broadway-style shows change? What about the other shows, like the variety acts - Buckets and Boards, magicians, etc? How frequently do they change?
Are activities like scavenger hunt always the same, or do they change them up at all?
I'm wondering if we're going to be seeing the same stuff as we did 6 months or even 2 years prior.

2016? 2017?
The shows stay a really long time. We've been cruising DCL since 2008 and have only seen one show change. Well, of course, the addition of the shows on the Dream class ships also.

The variety acts change out, roughly, each cruise. As in, say for the Fantasy, the individual entertainers that are onboard at the beginning of the cruise switch out half-way through. Then the entertainers that are on the second half of the cruise stay on at the beginning of the next cruise and switch half-way through again. That way the 7 night cruises can have something like 4 different entertainers during the cruise.

The switches are not always the same combinations. So entertainers A & B start cruise, switch with C & D. C & D start next cruise, switch with A & E (or B & F). Then A & E start next cruise, switch with B & D (or B & C), any number of combinations.

On the Dream, I believe they may switch one entertainer at the end of each cruise. So, first cruise A & B; second cruise A & C (or B & C); third cruise B & C (or B & D, or A & D) whatever.

Chances are fair to good that you will see some similar things that you saw 6 months ago, or 2 years ago.

We took 2 cruises on the Wonder in 2011 and one in 2012. Have another planned for this year. We're going to have the same production shows. Although some scenes in the shows can be updated (Golden Mickeys & Dreams). Don't know what individual entertainers we will have, but could be someone we've seen before, or not.

I think you mean you are looking at Spring 2017.

The Magic will have a new stage show based around Tangled debuting later this year. The other broadway style shows will likely be the same.
