How often does the average member call member services?

As I was sitting on hold waiting to talk to member services, this question came into my mind.

The simple answer is, whenever I have to. There isn't a website yet that lets us reserve villas, so we are stuck on hold with you. I waited 5 minutes this morning. I have a lot of points and I also rent them out so I am on the phone with MS a lot. In fact they are number 46 on my speed dial.
I can also recite my member number, name, address, phone number and ss# in thirty seconds, all by heart; so I guess that is a good indication I am on the phone with them too much.

Sorry you had to wait on hold. This is probably one of the busiest days of the year for MS. Hope your wait wasn't too long.

I started calling at about 2 minutes bfore 9 am Eastern and was able to get right through after a few calls (the first few said they weren't open yet, LOL).

I'm very glad my reservation is now complete. Also very glad that I can see it on the Members' website whenever I start worrying about it!

I called them today too, and didn't have to. The notice on the DVC member site said that paying dues on one of my contracts needed to be dealt with by me and MS, not on line like the others. The CM said that message is causing lots of people to call who don't need to, it just means that the papers aren't finalized yet. Since we have an extra trip coming up, I didn't want to get there and find ther was a problem with our membership, so I called. I'll be calling in a few weeks day by day to get 4 nights at BWV for next December!

I have only called them to make ressies and they weren't day by day. So all together I've called them 4 times for ressies and once because I had to give them my updated flight times for ME. So in the 13 months that I've been a member, I have called 5 times.
