How often does Airtran have sales ?

I know they are having one right now and it says it ends today. The flights we want are still higher then what I want to pay. Do they usually have a sale every month or how often. Anyone know how that works ? We are flying in Sept.

They've had one almost weekly recently. They usually start on Monday night and end Thursday night. The sale fares have been for certain days of the week, for travel through Nov. 16. Your dates might not get any lower if you're traveling in September - especially with this latest sale.

I also have the 10.00 off from Little Debbies. I wonder if I can use that with the sale prices ? If they have another sale, anyone know if they think Airtran will have another sale by Sept?

They'll have a sale before September for sure but your dates may or may not be included. NancyIL is correct...they've been having sales pretty much weekly. That said, my October flights haven't changed price in a month or more. I keep checking every day though!

AirTran is now owned by SouthWest...which just had a huge sale that ended yesterday. Their fares will probably fall in line more w/SWA

I bought my Oct. 25-Nov. 1 BMI (Bloomington, IL) to Orlando ticket when the sale fares were $94 (+ taxes) each way. The Nov. 1 airfare went down to $80 this week, so I got a $14 credit. (Other flights on Oct. 25 were also $80, but not my non-stop flight.) I'm waiting to buy my December ticket until they have a sale that includes December dates.

I would NOT expect to see September or October AirTran fares go down further than they were this week!

Unfortunately, our flight prices didn't change at all this week (I checked several times daily). Same as they've been for a month or more. $120 down, $89 back. Holding out hope they'll lower them. Southwest had a few flights for the $80 but they weren't good flight days or times for us and we prefer nonstop flights.

The great sale that ended yesterday was the same 40th birthday sale that SWA was also having. So to see a sale with those deep discounts won't be around until next year. But Airtran does release sale prices every Tues.

Yes just go to airtran and type Little Debbies in the search bar or go to littledebbies.com. Im not sure if this was deleted before, but I typed this and it was gone. I hope I'm not breaking the rules. I will try to post it again.
