How Often Do You Wear Your Wedding Ring?

I don't wear it around the house. I put it on whenever we go out.

I voted most of the time because when I'm at home, I wear no jewelry at all. As soon as I walk in the door all jewelry is removed.

I never go out without my engagement/wedding rings though.

I only take mine off when I'm doing my hair (to avoid the hairspray), cleaning the house, and doing messy things in the kitchen, like making meatballs.

DH wears his all the time too. He does take his off sometimes to play with it, spinning it like a top on the table. That drives me crazy.

I have a tendancy to misplace things, so I just wear my wedding band 24/7. The last time I removed it, I had to have the ring cut off and resized. Seems I hadn't removed it in nearly 16 years and some of those extra pounds ended up in my ring finger. Once it was resized, it went back on my finger and has remained there.

I always wear mine, even in the shower and to bed. The only time I take it off is when I need to put on rubber gloves, like for cleaning, or when I'm having to mix ground beef with my hands (yuck). I didn't even take it off when I painted my living room, kitchen, and both bathrooms! I actually feel naked with out it.

I answered never. The ring doesn't fit anymore after 2 kids. Even after the first kid and I was below the weight I was when I got married it didn't fit. I think being pregnant did something to my knuckle or I injured it or something.

I went and was going to have it resized but they wanted like $65 or something to do it and I figured I've gone almost 4 years now without whats a few more years. I'll wait until I'm done having kids!

I've been married over 25 years and my wedding ring has come off my finger only ONCE. And that was an accident when I was putting lotion on my hands and it slipped off. I was so disappointed when that happened last year.

I wear mine all of the time, except for in the shower and in bed.

Last year, while staying at AKL I took it off in the room and then went down to the pool and when I got back it'd gone. I searched the room (which had been made up while I was in the pool) and checked the safe and there was no sign of it.

I was distraught.

So, I called housekeeping to see if they'd seen it and security came along to the room with the housekeeping manager. They took a report for my insurance and just before they left the security guy asked to check the safe and just under where you open the safe door on the inside there's a small gap that your fingers wouldn't go to. Ta-Da!!!

I felt like an *** seeing as I must have put it there and in the haste to get DW, DD & DS to the pool, I'd completely forgotten.

So, on that note, if you ever think you've lost jewelry in your room and you have a safe, check inside just under the door!

ah, the life of a nurse! I always wondered why I never have to clean mine. Now If only I could do something about my raw hands!

Well I only have a promise ring for right now, but I wear it almost all the time. I take it off when I'm at home because I'm cleaning or showering, etc. but otherwise I wear it always.

I wear mine all the time, even when I shower and when I sleep. The only time ever I take it off is if I am baking and have to knead the dough, then I take it off, since I don´t want any "ingredients" to get stuck in the inscription inside the ring.
